Hello Diane, I love your work. I'm considering your workshop in Janesville in August. I'm still very much a beginner with oh so much to learn. I hope this won't be too overwhelming for me. Louise
Hi Diane, It is Joy Stefonek. How are you doing? I was wondering if your class is going to go at Lac Du Flambeau this summer? I wish that Kathy was here to host your workshop. I am painting and really getting absorbed in it! Have been sick with bronchitis, and now the diabetes has reacted and am taking insulin shots...feel much better now and have more energy! I see you will be opening your online shop soon. Who is doing it for you? What will you be selling? Thanks for your help in painting! It really inspired me! Love your reds and bright colors! Thanks! Joy Stefonek
Hi Diane, Sarah Gobrecht of Hudson, Ohio joined our art league when she moved from Wisconsin. She is fun and we hit it off immediately. We have a lot in common (young families and struggling to find the time for watercolors). I have taken seven workshops with Judi Betts and after I talk off Sarah's ear about Judi I let her talk my ear off about you. Would like very much someday to join Sarah at one of your workshops. Admire your work. Happy Painting! Lori Hess
Hello - I have been so interested in taking a class from Diane since I saw a demo she did for the Northstar Watercolor Society in Roseville, Minnesota a few years ago. However, Diane's schedule and mine did not seem to mesh. I work full time during the school year and my summers get too full before I seem to even think about taking a class. I am going to try and plan a little better this next year and see if I can schedule a class with Diane this year. I, also, have an old friend in Scottsdale whose mother painted with Diane. Her name was Faye Duffy and I would love to come to Scottsdale and take a class there and visit my friend at the same time. My friend's name is Eileen Duffy. I paint in a Thursday evening group, but am trying to pick up my paint brush a little more and become a more active painter again. There is nothing I like more than putting on a Mozart CD and losing my self with a piece of paper, my paints and my favorite brush - HEAVEN! My very best to you. I look forward to meeting you in the near future. Jennette Wasmund jennette.wasmund@isd623.org or jlw4398@earthlink.net

Diane Maxey... Had hoped to see you in Cambria...however your workshop is not listed. Have become a full-time producing artist (oils-primarily) for past three years and now am concentrating on my first love - watercolor. Associated in workshops with Beverly Decker an outstanding artist that has her summer workshops in France. Best regards from a former Horizon faculty member, Sue Morrison
Hi Diane, Your paintings are beautiful! I hope one day I can paint like you. Thanks for your web page. Liz
Love your art work. Would like to take your workshop sometime.
I really enjoyed your class on Jan. 31st at the WVAM! If I weren't working next week, I would love to take your classes at SAS. However, I registered today for your April 2nd class so will look forward to that. I am still interested in the Italy trip and found some info about it from Flying Colors web site.
Does Diane Maxey have a book available on her painting technique?
Your work is beautiful and uplifting, and has a spiritual quality I have not seen in many other waterfolor artists.
I hope someday to learn to use colors and paint in your style. Love your work. Have you ever written a book on how to paint along your style.
What a wonderful website! Your work is a breath of warmth and fresh air after our long NY winter.

Hi I ordered Marie Mac Donnell Roberts Book Her phone has been changed to 925-935-3156. and the Cost is $54. plus mailing. How does passages, seesaw, and Silhouette fit into her Scaffolding or design forms? I was very impressed with the handouts, but I couldn't print our the poppy disk. I am sorry that I will not be in your class as my sister died and I need to take care of my mother as I am the only child left and she is 91 and needs the company this year. This is the second child that has died. My other sister died several years ago. Happy New Year.
You have a wonderful site and a lot of talent! I really like your bold colors it is so fresh and full of light. Are you planning worshops in Canada? It would be a dream come trough! I invite you to take a look on my website...
I would like to know what workshops you have offered here in europe? I could not get a listing of your scheduled events on your site. I am interesting in possibly joining a workshop when you come over here. Thank you!
Diane your watercolours are a joy and an inspiration, warm regards Liz.
Enjoyed seeing your work. Recently bought one of Alan's paintings in Prescott and we were able to meet him.
Great ART site, thanks, I tried to leave a message before
Your work is quite lovely :) We look forward to your visit to White Rock, BC next year and hope you will enjoy your stay here. Kind Regards, Alex (again ;)
Diane < You're work is exceptionally fabulous!!! I love flowers and floral motif. :) Happy to see you come to White Rock, BC. Hope you will enjoy our seaside town full of beauty and nature. Kind Regards, Alex
Gosh, Diane, I sure miss the watercolor workshops you did in Kansas City. I was all set for last year's in October ... and when I went to find out why I hadn't heard anything, found that the Friendship Gallery was no longer in business. The two workshops I took from you were wonderful. I hope all is going well for you and maybe, someday, I can connect with you for another. P.S. -- I was just ready to push the Submit button and noticed a typo on this page -- in the blue type directly below the Submit Comments button on this guest page -- you'll see it when you look.)
Hi Diane, I have truly enjoyed your paintings and continue to enjoy the "Water Lilies" that you did many years ago which now are hung in our formal dining room. After a chance encounter with David and Marilyn at church we discovered that you were a close friend of theirs. Marilyn has motivated me to pick up a brush again and this time try my hand at watercolors. I am excited to begin a new class here in Washington where we are spending the summer, perhaps there will be a day that I have accomplished enough to sit in on one of your workshops. So nice to view your photos and remember fondly our times together years ago. Jackie
Your art is an inspiration - I see happy beautiful thinking and heart. I do watercolor - and for awhile Ihave not been inspired to to much - Today, looking at this website from work - I want to leave and paint. Thank you
